J.C. Lawson is a Partner at Mueller, Lawson and Frobish and is an accomplished attorney with over 10 years of experience in Business and Real Estate matters in addition to diligently representing clients who have been injured in accidents, dog bites, and work-related incidents.
J.C. has become known for his extensive knowledge in handling, and providing exceptional knowledge, advice, and legal representation to his clients dealing with Business related matters including Residential, Agricultural and Commercial Real Estate transactions.
J.C. was raised in Grundy County and graduated from Morris High School in 2005 and then attended Loyola University Chicago where he graduated Cum Laude, with degrees in Finance and Marketing in 2009. J.C. went on to earn his law degree from UIC Law School in Chicago, IL and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar Association in 2013.
Throughout his career, J.C. has utilized his business experiences and education to successfully represent clients in several areas of practice including Personal Injury and Worker Compensation cases which has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of the legal system and is well known for his aggressive and strategic approach to any matter he handles, always striving to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients with their personal and financial interests always being taken into consideration.
In addition to his legal practice, J.C. is a dedicated member of the community. J.C. volunteers his time and legal expertise to Grundy County Habitat for Humanity and Morris BBQ Association as well as being an active Board Member of the Grundy County United Way, Grundy County Housing Authority, and The Morris Community High School Education Foundation.
J.C. also devotes time to local youth sports where he currently coaches Wrestling and Baseball.
